Summer 2021
Relatively enough eggs were laid to date, but hatching rate was rather below the average. First ten eggs from species Stenodactylus sthenodacylus were all infertile as well as the very first pairs of eggs from young pair of Strophurus williamsi and Strophurus spinigerus. I have already first two juveniles of Sphaerodactylus phyzacinus and my Sphaerodactylus armasi female laid first egg ever. Regardless limited contacts between European breeders I found new specimens of Stenodactylus doriae and Stenodactylus arabicus and paired them with the opposite gender ones again. New pair of Phyllurus amnicola is also doing well. First 2021 reptile show will be held in my home city Ostrava in mid Aug again.

Spring 2021
Some few eggs of new season were already laid. As for new species - I found first egg ever from my new species Sphaerodactylus phyzacinus and two more ones from Nephrurus wheeleri cinctus. Another new species Sphaerodactylus armasi didn’t lay the egg to date. Nevertheless, the season is just beginning. I would like to try quite new species Phyllurus amnicola in my breeding in the future. Hence young pair of these Australians was already reserved. Very promising are also two Pachydactylus species (rugosus, rangei), first eggs are already in incubation.

New species in my breeding
In spite of more complicated contacts between particular breeders I purchased next few new species for my breeding recently - 3,0 Paroedura vazimba (I should get 0,2 within 6 months, too), 1,1 Paroedura oviceps and 1,1 Sphaerodactylus armasi.

Breeding season 2020
This year's breeding season was pretty strange, particulary due to very limited contacts with other breeders. The breeding was not very good as for genus Gonatodes (more incomplete pairs), on the other hand, sphaerodactylus and pachydactylus females laid their eggs regularly. My breeding is in winter "mode" now, I am looking forward to the spring of 2021. The species Pachydactylus latirostris, Strophurus spinigerus and Gonatodes ceciliae will be paired in first half of 2021.

Nephrurus wheeleri cinctus
Two eggs that my young N. wheeleri cinctus female glued on underside of water dish, will not hatch finally. Nevertheless, considering that it is very first pair of eggs from this female, it is pretty promising for next breeding season.

Gonatodes atricucullaris
My Gonatodes season was rather subnormal in 2020. Nevertheless, the very first hatchling of species Gonatodes atricucullaris hatched in my breeding this weekend. Thanks Cristian!

Pachydactylus, Gonatodes alb. fuscus
Being back from Mykons island holiday I found some more Pachydactylus hatchlings at home. On the other hand one of my oldest Gonatodes males (GAF, *04/2007) died.

First Pachydactylus rangei hatched
The very first hatchling of Pachydactylus rangei hatched yesterday. June was relatively reach in egg clutches, the females of Eurydactylodes vieillardi a Heteronotia binoei joined other species and laid their first eggs of the season though these eggs seem to be infertile.
